If you want to take advantage of bulk buying, just look at the product and buying date on the left of this page and click to add your order to the group, then on, or near the buy date, we will offer the group order to a range of suppliers and then let you know price delivery and supplier details via this website.

Bad economic news brings good news for oil buyers. Oil prices are falling, so much so, that some of you may have decided to buy now rather than wait for our May 28th buying date.

If you have placed an order with us, but have decided to buy earlier, please go to http://maldonbuyers.com/ordersmy and click cancel so that our records are kept up to date.

For the rest of us, perhaps we can expect price to fall still further, so May 28th could be a good time to really stock up.

At the time of this newsletter we have over 63,000 litres on order, and we expect this number will double as we approach our order deadline.

Dear Maldon Buyers members

We're pretty proud of the price we achieved for members yesterday, at 57.5p we were over 2p below boilerjuice.

Our negotiation was helped by member "scouts" who contacted us to tell us what price their local supplier was prepared to offer.

However, there may be some who feel we could have done even better, and if so, please let us know via our forum on http://maldonbuyers.com/forum. If you think we did pretty well then you can also let us know on http://maldonbuyers.com/forum.

We do need your input and participation to ensure we provide the very best value to members, and to help fashion imminent changes that we feel we need to make.

And for those that missed the boat yesterday (we always get members who try to place orders after the price is published), please note we're taking orders for Monday MAY 28th.

Dear Maldon Buyers members,

We're pleased to announce that we have struck a deal with Butler Fuels for 57.5ppl (Exc VAT).

Butler expect to have all orders delivered by the end of next week.

Unlike other suppliers, Butler will deliver first and then invoice with payment expected with 14 days of invoice., so if you no longer wish to go ahead with the order, please let us know promptly.

Dear Maldon Buyers members.

A final reminder that orders close tomorrow (Monday) at 9:30 am. It looks as if we will have over 120,000 litres for all our Essex & Suffolk groups.

Remember, you can help us get the best deal for our members. If you have a good relationship with a local supplier, why not ask what deal they can offer for 120,000 litres, and let us know by responding to this email.

Dear Maldon Buyers members,

This is our usual reminder that our next buying date is Monday when we will be searching on your behalf for the best heating oil deal from a range of suppliers.

Our total order for Monday is likely to exceed 100,000 litres across Essex and Suffolk.

In order to obtain an even better deal for members, we are waiving our requirement for commission on orders placed by members.

This widens the number of suppliers we can talk to because not all suppliers are prepared to pay commissions. This may not seem good business sense, as we will no longer receive income from the sale of heating oil, but our objective is to continue to grow our membership so that we can look at alternative ways of paying for our services in the near future.

So…that can only be good news for members, and it also opens the door for members themselves to see if they can get a better deal on our behalf!

So..if you have a good relationship with a supplier, let them know, we will be placing an order for around 100,000 litres on Monday, and if you get the best deal, we'll put your name in lights!!

This is our first reminder that our next buying date for heating oil is on Monday 23rd April.

Can we remind all members that we are unable to provide any price guidance ahead of the actual buying date, and that delivery will usually be between 5-7 working days after the buying date.

Delivery will be within 5 working days

Goff will telephone members that are not known to them to request payment details.

For any queries, we will provide a phone number when the order has been moved into their system.
